Week end

Had a lovely week end seth and I went out whole of Saturday and the kids had a ball together incl. selfies of happiness on Angus' bed and then stake conference on Sunday with lunch at Peta and Michael and a fun FHE with singing and dancing!!!

Brigham had a rough day today but went out to dinner for Spencer's birthday. He had such a great time and came back so grounded.
Erin today changed her light bulb and then brighams. I didn't even k ow, she asked seth how, he told her and then she did it….so independent!

We’re cookin!

What an amazing day!!!

Angus always keeps us going with his glimpses of stupendous greatness.

Yesterday morning spent several hours with Abby playing which I forgot to mention…..then today he cooked dinner, make Ricky road with Griff, loved on everyone and all his relationships. Found him chilling on tramp with siblings and cousins, found Erin and Georgia laying on his bed chatting with him. We wanted to clear out the shed, when I asked him he said sure and spent ages helping in dust and dirt.

Took his brothers anger when he was being snappy and cranky and  throwing stuff at him.

Spent several hours this morning helping Georgia completely spring clean and re arrange her room!! He was so sweet and empathic and understanding with her!

Not a single minute on his computer once today. Just love for everyone! Happy kind excited, my heart is grateful and happy for this beautiful day with my amazing boy!!

Georgia was also a sweetie, so helpful, eager to help everything I asked she jumped to do, little things like make a sandwich for Griff or can you get me this or that. I suggested she wipe down the filthy freezer outside and so she did….and then re arranged and re packed everything inside without asking. Over and over again this girl shines!!!!

Rainbow doors

Today Angus and Erin stayed home. I love having the kids home, makes my heart yearn for the days of homeschooling!!

Yesterday and today Abby spent making rainbow jelly's all her idea, so yummy we had them for dessert tonight. She invited pop and oumi over to share them with us.

The girls decorated their doors and angus didn't want to be left out, so I was so thrilled to see him spending time doing something relaxing and creative for his bedroom door. Spent a few hours on this awesome project!

Erin whippersnipped for the first time, loved time in the garden today, love spring/summer so so much!!!

Oh and a massive thorn on griffs leg from a months ago we finally got out!!

Cooking and chooking

Today Erin and Griff made Anzac cookies and Erins eggs started hatching, we struggled to get the temp right so she was absolutely over the moon when they started! She was racing up and down like a mother hen all in a fluster with Molly racing up and down after her enjoying her excitement!

Abby started rainbow jelly's for tomorrow dessert!

All the kids had a fun game of just dance!!

I love how none of the kids go to sleep at night before all hugging each other good night over and over again. Erin just came up to say good night to me and thanks for my help with chicks today, on the way out she hugged Abby who said good night erin, you are my bestest friend!

Happy days

I have just noticed so many sweetnesses!

Georgia has such a sweet relationship with Griffin, she always comes in to cuddle him before bed, she loves and mother's him so sweetly!

Brigham led Abby and griff on a glorious afternoon of outside play with such grand imaginations.

Georgia cooked a roast for dinner tonight and even put it on while I was out.

Angus drive all the way to Kingston and back, he is so capable and clever.

Abby cooked an apple pie for dessert and layers the table beautifully. Christmas music playing here already!!!! So much fun!

The girls tried waxing legs for the first time….lots of shrieking and squealing!! They slept together the last two nights, but were quiet and sensible. 

Erins eggs she is incubating have started to pip, we struggled to get the temp right so wasn't sure if they would. She is giddy with excitement over them!

 So busy doing string art didn't get pictures of them all, but griff and Abs were amazing at hammering.

Griff at a Isaac's birthday

Griff loves sugar anything…and movies….so he always organizes parties to get them. So pic was a party with Brigham. Made a massive cubby of whole lounge and invited William for a sleepover. It was hot in there they had to take the roof off eventually, although William ducked out early and slept in brighams bedroom

Sunday lockdown

Yesterday Angus self regulated really well and whittled and sanded himself a really straight sword!! So clever!

After watching conference the kids decorated with fondant.

While making the muffins I exploded milk in the microwave the twins rushed to help me clean it up! So sweet!

Abby is doing amazing artwork she really fills the space she inhabits!!
