coming soon

My Hubby has been doing a great job of keeping everyone up to date with the state of my belly!!!
I am so incapacitated and in so much pain if they don't come before, i'm going in on Tuesday to be induced. I'm already 5cm dilated but they say that can be normal for a few weeks just because of the pressure of multiples. So its just a matter of breaking my waters. But i'm thinking i might not last till tuesday!!! Very excited to get them out!!!!!!

36 Weeks

PICTURES! Lots of pictures!

Angus loves physical challenges, balancing acts and anything acrobatic he can come up with.

Angus' 3rd Birthday. He wanted a Banana party....so we all dressed in something yellow and had banana splits for desert. And we had fireworks afterwards, I didn't get any pictures of the more interesting ones...but it turned out great and he loved it.

Not only the kids have fun at bathtime!!!

Dad playing hide and seek in the roof.....the kids were delighted when they finally found him.

Count Down

Just had a Dr's appointment today. 36 weeks and 3 days so far, the twins are both head down and after an internal he said i was already 2cm dilated. And went on to say he would book me in for an induction next thursday, even when i told him i didn't want one. When i asked him why i needed an induction he told me it would be much better to have the babies in the day time instead of night or weekend, so all the staff that needed to be there would be, I thought that a sorry reason. I was feeling a bit anxious today, as it all suddenly seemed a reality!!!

big belly

The latest on the big bellly saga. Me at 30 weeks.
And so uncomfortable, can't sleep at all...every position seems to ache and when the kids get going they kick every way possible. I've been trying hard to make and freeze meals and generally get as organised as possible for the onslaught but not that easy considering i'm struggling just to get around. And hospital visits down to fortnightly which is a bit of a pain, luckily mom is always happy to look after Angus and Erin while i'm away! Not long to go but it still feels like FOREVER....bring on the birth!!!!!

Evolution of the belly: 24 weeks

Holidays

We just spent 5 days in Sydney which was fantastic. Didn't do any sightseeing which was both sad and a relief. Would have liked to see some of the sights but I don't think i was really up to it. We had great time instead staying at temple accommodation, Rory, Katie and William came, so did my mom and so did Katie's dad and stepmom Peta, so it was lots of fun.

Then we moved onto Seth's Uncle Geoff and Aunty Janice, who I'd met briefly at our wedding. They were just gorgeous and hospitable and we just had the most wonderful, relaxing time with them. Geoff was also a wealth of information about the Ireland (and McQuire) families which was lovely as I have yet to meet many of them!

Below: cousin Bec and hubby Alex

Bec's about as pregnant as i am and you can't even see her bump! Made me feel very large indeed.

Everytime I try and insert text between photos it deletes a photo...just realized i've taken out cousin Davids entire family...oops. Loved cousin David though! and his wife Leisa and their daughters Kelsey and Peta.

Further down is my ex missionary companion Kat and her family who we had a great time catching up with.

Then Seth's Grandma and Uncles Frank (gorgeous wife Jeanette and cousin Robbie) and Greg. What a great time we had catching up and exploring the mangroves at the bottom of Grandma's garden! Just wonderful!

So that was our holiday pretty much.
